2013 CYO
Volleyball Registration
Saint Anselm students may participate in the
athletic programs provided by the Saint Anselm Parish Athletic
Association. The purpose of the athletic program is to encourage
students to participate in athletic games, thereby fostering
physical and moral growth. Besides the competitive CYO sports,
the Saint Anselm Athletic Association encourages and supports
intramural competition in many other sports.
Athletics at Saint Anselm are to be supportive
of the academic program of our parish. As such, priority is
given to school work and performance. The Athletic Association
has guidelines for athletic participation related to academic
performance. Announcements regarding athletic teams are
distributed through Saint Anselm School and Saint Anselm Parish.
The Saint Anselm Athletic Association offers a
variety of athletic programs for boys and girls in grades 4-8.
These are basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and track.
Last year our 8th grade girls volleyball team won the city
championships! This year, our 8th grade girls track team
won city championships and our 8th grade girls volleyball team
won sportsmanship awards!
The development of a good intramural and CYO
program depends upon assistance of volunteer parents.
Accordingly, Saint Anselm welcomes the help of any Saint Anselm
parent in athletic activities, and specifically the Saint Anselm
Athletic Committee.
Join us for the
Athletic Committee Meeting which is generally held the first
Monday of every month
in the Nativity Room. Your kids depend on your support to
make this program work.
